    Seriously? Ida Hammer respectfully and calmly approached Cathy Brennan to have a respectful conversation, and here you are posting photos of the woman trying to demonize her? This is disgraceful, to say the least. If you actually watch the video, Ida comes across as none other than sweet, calm, and respectful, IN SPITE OF the transphobe screaming in her face telling her very disrespectfully that she’s a man and claiming that trans women are evil rapists. IN THE SAME WAY THAT LESBIANS USED TO BE ONLY DEPICTED AS RAPISTS OR SEX OBJECTS, NOW YOU FOOLS ARE DEPICTING TRANS WOMEN AS NOTHING MORE THAN RAPISTS.

    This is disgusting. YOU are the “pretendbian,” because if you were a real lesbian you wouldn’t be doing to trans women what everyone else did to us.

      Way to speak the real truth “self confidence”. I just wrote pretty much the same thing on that hate blog that ends in “trender”. Which probably won’t seen the light of day, since it doesn’t agree with the majority of haters on that blog. Ida was actually very soft spoken and respectful. And as an official who was approached about Ms Brennan’s behaviour (threatening young trans girls and women) it was her duty to address the issue. And Ida was AWESOME. The only one who was being gentle. Oh, and I hope you have a vagina, self confidence (as I do). Apparently you need one, to have a valid opinion. Then again, if it isn’t the same as the separatists, then they label you “delusional” as the videographer did.The transphobic lesbians think they are the majority, when I think they are part of the loud screeching nonsensical hate speech minority. In case, it doesn’t see the light of day on that other transphobic blog, MS Brennan and her type of hate speech and aggression is not welcome at the Toronto Dyke March. It is a trans-inclusive march, and it’s going to stay that way.

      They should create a separatist lesbian march if they actually want to be honest. Because they are separatist lesbians. As someone who wrongfully first came out and IDed herself as one, I can spot a separatist, and that’s exactly what they are and if they want truth in advertising, then they should call themselves that, so those of us who don’t support that hateful stuff can steer clear.

      I encourage Ms Brennan to keep up this horrid campaign. Keep it up, and I will see to it, that Ida Hammer gets an invite to be the honourary dyke at next year’s Dyke March in Toronto. She’s exactly the kind of spirit we love here.
      And she’s exactly the kind of official we need at our Dyke March. Calm, cool and respectful, in spite of the hate and phobia spewed her way. And Ms Brennan’s hate speech and campaign to make trans people feel threatened would not be tolerated at our Dyke March.

      Love how Ms Brennan links to the supposedly long video. The one that conveniently leaves Ida out of it entirely. Because the actual video from which those pics are taken, shows Ida as she was being. Kind, respectful and tolerant in the face of abusive language. Ida didn’t “gang up” on her at all. She was doing her job. And she was doing it beautifully.
